This one very long di de pic.. i just post them.. today.. is last Oct 2006 picture.. kinda long di.. Is makan when i was thinking to wait fr someone special at that time.. but i fail to… at last.

It was located.. at Krystal point 2 where you can see many car companies dere.. Naza, Proton and all… and it was located along the lots dere.. wat i eat there .. yummy fish and chips was real supperb… ichi ban!!!!

Burger from Subway @ E-Gate, Penang

Subway.. I tried once when I am in Dell.. where our team won some contest so we are entitled fr makan Subway.. thats my first time.. and today.. i want to have Subway again.. yummy..cause my mood not really good.. when my mood is not good… i will start makan and makan… so have makan many things today.. i will post one by one.. when i am free.. Need to pack up to KL.. so will not have updates.. for this 2-3 days.. till i back to Penang.

Em.. this is de one i eat .. is real expensive a burger cost me RM 10… imagine.. haha.. but is real nice la.. yummy..

Desserts have always been an important part of Chinese cuisine.
They come as a part of set dinners.They can be standalone meals, eaten with eu char koay (deep fried cakes).
This stall was started in the 1930s along Kimberley Street and is now run by third-generation hawker Goh Cheng Hoe.
Leng chi kang is something i love as is is a sweet, clear soup with an assortment of additions like dried leng chi, lotus seeds, gingko seed and jelly. Yummy.. especially when i take them in hot weather :)





Penang Asam Laksa Recepies

Ingredients:
300 g coarse rice vermicelli
100 g wolf herring (Ikan Parang) or mackerel
250 ml water
2 Tbsp tamarind pulp
1 tsp salt
½ tsp salt
25 g polygonum (daun kesom)
Ingredients for spice paste:
4 pips garlic
10 shallots
5 fresh red chillies
5 dried chillies
2 stalks lemon grass (serai)
1 tsp tumeric powder
1 Tbsp shrimp paste (belacan)

Garnishing Ingredients:
1 fresh red chilli
1 fresh green chilli
1 onion
1 cucumber
½ pineapple
½ can pickled leeks
25 g mint leaves
1 Tbsp prawn paste (hae ko) Preparation of Ingredients:
Nip polygonum, leaf by leaf. Discard centre stalk, wash and drain.
Nip mint leaf by leaf. Discard stalk, wash and drain.

Finely shred the cucumber and onion.

Remove pineapple skin, eyes and core. Cut into 6 pieces lengthwise and slice into little pieces.

Finely slice the chillies and pickled leeks.

Grind the spice ingredients to form a smooth paste.

Method:
Boil rice vermicelli for 10 minutes. Rinse in cold water, drain and set aside.
In a pot, boil 500 ml of water with polygonum.

Add 250 ml of water to tamarind pulp to extract tamarind juice. Strain and discard the seeds. Pour tamarind juice into the pot of boiling water.

Add fish. When cooked, remove and leave to cool. Allow fish stock to simmer. With wet hands, pick out the fish bones. Flake fish meat for later use.

Take 50 ml of fish stock and reheat in a separate saucepan. When boiling, add spice paste and stir well. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring at all times. Pour mixture back into the main pot.

Discard polygonum from fish stock. Add in fish meat and turn off fire as soon as mixture begins to boil. Add sugar to taste.

Place required amount of vermicelli in a bowl. Garnish with pineapple pieces, shredded cucumber and onion, sliced chillies and pickled leeks, mint leaves and prawn paste to taste. Pour 2 ladlefuls of gravy and fish meat over it.

It has been a long time.. not cooking.. and this time is steam prawns.. Steam prawns wif egg are real nice. .. and the taste a bit like having crabs.. but having prawns instead.. em.. how i make dem..

Wat u need

1. 2 eggs.. just want the white egg.. don wan the yolk

2. Fresh prawns

3. a pinch of salt

4.fresh coriander leaves ( not garnishing)

5. water

Directions

1. wash the prawns and cuts the prawns centre a bit.

2. Add a pinch of salt to the white egg and add 4 cups of egg shells into it and beat them

3.Pour the egg white into the plate with the prawns

4. Steam them together when u cook your rice.

5. It will be cooked once your rice is cooked.

6. Now you can eat :P
